Caring for People in Crisis
Why it matters...
Helping people in times of need and crisis to meet basic life necessities such as food, clothing, safe shelter, medications, and emotional support is a basic cornerstone of our community's commitment to caring. These "safety net" services are important in order for a community to be able to readily respond in times of emergency and crisis.
United Way is committed to caring for our neighbors in crisis-to do the hard work that is needed to provide a viable safety net of health and human services to ensure emergency needs of individuals and families are met.
